The incident occurred during an altercation at a house on Atlantic Avenue. According to reports, the altercation took place around 9:50 p.m., and Marcus Devon Flow was shot by James Germini Hooker, a 43-year-old male from Goldsboro. The police investigation revealed that the shooting was a result of a dispute between the two individuals.
