On the morning of September 6, 2024, at approximately 8:04 a.m., Goldsboro Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at 905 S. Slocumb Street in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Joshua Shabazz Faison suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention from Wayne County Emergency Medical Services, Faison was pronounced dead at the scene.
