Kareem Lamar Johnson, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot multiple times on June 20, 2016, in Burlington, North Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. at 702 Tillman Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was initially taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center for treatment and later transferred to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, where he succumbed to his injuries on June 22, 2016.
