On July 15, 2024, just before midnight, Burlington Police responded to a reported shooting at 1042 Bellvue Street. Upon arrival, officers found 24-year-old Kemori "Kemo" Tyrick Booth suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital in Greensboro, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
