Quinnton Enoch's death led to the arrest of two suspects. Treyquan Becton, a 21-year-old male from Hillsborough, and Micah Jamar Downey, an 18-year-old male from Mebane, were both charged in connection with the shooting. Becton faced charges of first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, and possession of a stolen firearm. Downey was charged with first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. Both suspects were taken into custody and held without bond.
