Warren Frederick Mebane, a 49-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2020, in Burlington, North Carolina. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the front yard of his home on Evans Street. Despite the efforts of Alamance County emergency medical services, Mebane was pronounced dead at the scene.
