Raheem Khary Lawrence McAllister, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2017, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. at a McDonald's near the downtown Raleigh fireworks show. McAllister was shot and subsequently taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The shooting also resulted in three other victims being injured, who were later released from the hospital.
