Thomas "Tom" M. Durand, a 64-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2015, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Tom was born on January 5, 1951, and was the son of Alfred and Myra Epperly Durand. He was raised on a farm in Herrickville, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School and Penn State University.
