Michael Tavon Tolbert, also known as "Tank," was a 22-year-old African American male who tragically lost his life on January 19, 2014, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Michael was born on May 23, 1991, in Jacksonville, Florida, and later moved to Raleigh, where he pursued his education and career. He graduated from Southeast Raleigh High School and continued his studies at Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC.
