Dionte Hunter, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 24, 2017, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a drug deal gone wrong. Hunter met Steven Black, a 20-year-old man, near Monroe Road for the transaction. Following a disagreement, Black fired multiple shots into the vehicle Hunter was driving. Hunter succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
