Death by Force

On August 10, 2024, at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) responded to a report of an unresponsive male in the 8900 block of Arlington Church Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Carlos Stanley Garcia Ramos lying in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
