Tavarus Lashon Taybron, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 21, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 10:52 p.m. in the common area of an apartment complex on Varsity Lane. Upon arrival, officers found Tavarus lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.
