Cory Jermaine McKinney Jr., a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 12, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. in the 4000 block of Cushman Street. According to reports, the shooting initially took place at the intersection of Cushman Street and Ridgedale Circle.
