Yimere Joyner, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 5, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 6 or 7 p.m. in the stairwell of an apartment complex on Camp Greene Street. Yimere was discovered unresponsive by the police and was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been shot multiple times, and the investigation revealed that the shooting took place during a robbery in which Yimere was the victim.
