Yimere Joyner, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 5, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 6 or 7 p.m. in the stairwell of an apartment complex on Camp Greene Street. Yimere was discovered unresponsive by the police and was pronounced dead at the scene.
