On December 19, 2023, at approximately 2 a.m., 33-year-old Frankie Chaparro Jr. was found deceased from a gunshot wound inside an apartment on West Tyvola Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. Officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) responded to a welfare check at The Volaire apartment complex, where they discovered Chaparro's body.
