Jawuan Tariq Pressley, a 22-year-old African American male, died on August 18, 2020, from injuries sustained in a shooting that occurred on August 16, 2020, in West Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident took place around 9:50 p.m. on Reid Avenue, off of West Boulevard.
