Brandon Alexzander Chavis, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 12, 2017, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 3100 block of Calumet Drive. Chavis was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was subsequently transported to WakeMed, where he was pronounced dead.
