Taferious Traquail Cannady, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 17, 2020, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Cannady, also known as "Zeus," was found shot to death inside a vehicle on McGuire Drive, off Perry Creek Road, alongside Teleah Janae Richmond, a 27-year-old African American female. The incident occurred late at night, and a nearby resident reported hearing six or seven gunshots before discovering the sedan with its running lights and brake lights on.
