Taheem Ivory Lassiter, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 1, 2017, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a drug deal gone wrong. According to reports, Lassiter had arranged a marijuana sale at an apartment on Pebble Beach Drive in Raleigh. During the transaction, a struggle ensued, and a gunshot was fired, resulting in Lassiter's death later that night at WakeMed hospital from a gunshot wound.
