On December 2, 2023, at approximately 8:37 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Summit Avenue, located in the Caraleigh neighborhood just south of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Nicolas Ricardo Carrasco Domenech suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
