Terry Leake, a 48-year-old African American male from Lumberton, NC, tragically lost his life on December 13, 2017. The incident occurred during an argument at a home on the 2400 block of Balaam Drive near Hope Mills. Cumberland County deputies found Leake in the front yard, where he had been shot. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
