Cameron Javon Emery, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 21, 2020, in Hope Mills, North Carolina. Cameron, affectionately known as "Cam-O," was a student at South View High School and was known for his musical talents and love for sports. He was a fan of the Tarheels, Tom Brady, and LeBron James. Cameron's life was cut short in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of 21-year-old Franklin Monroe.
