Both victims had sustained 12 gunshot wounds each, with the shots likely originating from the driver's side of the vehicle.
Hardy-Praylor was a rising sophomore at Winston-Salem State
University and had graduated from Northeast Guilford High School in 2017, where he was a successful honors athlete, excelling in basketball and football. The incident occurred in Easton Park, a popular area for children and families, which neighbors described as a peaceful place.
The police investigation revealed that this was not a random act of violence, and the shooter was known to the victims. Despite the extensive investigation, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the double homicide remains unclear. The community was deeply affected by the tragedy, with local residents expressing their sorrow and concern for the safety of the neighborhood.
