Apaulenal Eric Areyano, a 26-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on May 30, 2017, at the Sleep Inn Hotel in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Police responded to a reported shooting at the hotel around 8 p.m. and found Areyano lying on the floor inside a room with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
