Quayshon McRae, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 16, 2018, in Wilmington, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Moore Plaza, where McRae was struck by three bullets during an altercation. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The shooting was allegedly the result of an argument between McRae and Trent Williams, who believed that McRae had shot at his wife's car the night before.
