William Springer, a 35-year-old man from Wilmington, North Carolina, was fatally shot near the 1100 block of Castle Street just before 2 a.m. on December 29, 2019. Officers nearby heard the shots and found Springer, initiating life-saving measures until EMS arrived. Unfortunately, Springer later succumbed to his injuries. The Wilmington Police Department has been actively seeking information to solve this case, offering a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
