On January 16, 2023, at approximately 8:30 p.m., 24-year-old Anthony Howard Jr. was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds in the 900 block of Harris Avenue in Cincinnati's West Price Hill neighborhood. First responders transported him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Howard, a graduate of Woodward High School, pursued a career in auto mechanics and also worked in healthcare, HVAC, and with individuals with disabilities.
He was engaged to Terrella Lewis and was the father of three children, with a fourth child, his first son, expected to be born two months after his death.
The Cincinnati Police Department initiated a homicide investigation but, as of now, has not released information regarding any arrests or identified suspects. Authorities urge anyone with information about the incident to contact the department at 513-765-1212 or CrimeStoppers at 513-352-3040.
