Rashon Watson Jr., a 22-year-old African American man from Cincinnati, OH, was tragically shot and killed on April 3, 2018, in the Avondale neighborhood. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred around 12:25 p.m. on Hickory Street near Harvey Avenue. Police believe the shooting may have taken place inside a vehicle, as the ShotSpotter system, which detects gunshots, did not activate.
