On April 24, 2025, the quiet town of Drew, Mississippi, was rocked by a devastating triple homicide that claimed the lives of 18-year-old Bromeisha Sims, her 19-year-old sister Kamaya Sims, and their 40-year-old mother, Aquilla Latique Wallace. The three African American women were discovered deceased inside their home on Joseph Street, leaving the close-knit community in a state of shock and mourning.
