Death by Force

On April 24, 2025, Aquilla Latique Wallace, a 40-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed in a triple homicide in Drew, Mississippi. Her daughters, 18-year-old Bromeisha Sims and 19-year-old Kamaya Sims, also lost their lives in the incident. The three women were discovered deceased inside Wallace’s home on Joseph Street, sending shockwaves through the tight-knit community.
