Death by Force

Linwood D. Johnson Jr., a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 14, 2019, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. His body was discovered outside a business on Cumberland Street after police responded to an alarm at JMJ Wholesale. Johnson had been shot to death, and the circumstances surrounding his murder remain unclear. The police have not publicly disclosed what prompted the killing or if there was any prior relationship between Johnson and the suspect.
