Daniel Steven Pierce, a 22-year-old male from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, was tragically killed on July 7, 2019. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Fuel Doc gas station located at 1108 Cokey Road. Pierce was found with at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
