On June 2, 2023, at approximately 12:06 a.m., an altercation occurred at the Cook Out restaurant located on North Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. During this incident, 19-year-old Tahagi Brown sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, where he was listed in critical condition.
