Maurice Lyons, a 33-year-old male from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, tragically passed away on June 7, 2022, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night near the 1200 block of Westside Drive. When the police arrived at the scene, they found Maurice Lyons on the ground with a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving measures, he was later pronounced dead at Nash UNC Health Care.
