On March 20, 2017, a tragic incident occurred at a home in Phoenix, Arizona, resulting in the death of 9-year-old Landen Lavarnia. According to the accounts provided by his mother, Wendy Lavarnia, the incident involved a 2-year-old sibling who allegedly found a loaded gun left on a bed. Wendy Lavarnia claimed that she had momentarily turned her attention away, allowing the toddler to grab the gun, pull the trigger, and shoot Landen while he was playing video games.
