Jessie Hurley, a 52-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 6, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jessie was found with a fatal gunshot wound on East W.T. Harris Boulevard near Lawyers Road. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene shortly before 11:30 am, where Jessie was pronounced dead by MEDIC. The investigation into his death revealed that Jessie was shot and killed in what appeared to be a targeted attack.
