Elijah Lonnell Williams, a 13-year-old African American boy from Farmville, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2020. Elijah was shot and later succumbed to his injuries at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. The incident occurred at 3928 Cobb Dail Road in Farmville, where Pitt County deputies responded to a reported shooting shortly before 2 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Elijah wounded and immediately transported him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
