Simon Montreal Burroughs, a 37-year-old African American male from Farmville, NC, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2017. He was found dead in his home with a gunshot wound to the leg. The Pitt County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into his death, treating it as a homicide.
