On the evening of September 25, 2024, deputies from the Pitt County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting on South Pineview Lane in Farmville, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Marston resident, Lakota Shan Locklear, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
