Trayvion Lamar Amerson, a 23-year-old African American male, was found shot to death inside a residence in Durham, North Carolina, on November 24, 2020. The incident occurred on Dawkins Street, just a few blocks from North Carolina Central University. Officers responded to a report of shots fired and discovered Trayvion inside the home, where he had succumbed to his injuries.
