Marquise Keshawn Mangum, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 3, 2014, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the 900 block of East Main Street, where Mangum was found lying in a breezeway of a multi-residential building. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
