Duwayne Clay Jr., a 16-year-old African American male, was found dead on May 28, 2019, in Durham, North Carolina. His body was discovered in the back seat of a stolen Honda Accord outside Duke University Hospital's emergency room. Authorities believe that Duwayne was shot in the area of Fayetteville and Timothy streets before being transported to the hospital. The exact location of the shooting remains unclear, but it is not believed to have occurred at the hospital.
