On June 16, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a passing driver discovered the body of 47-year-old Jamie Rolando Ramos lying on the side of the road in the 2500 block of Wrightwood Avenue in Durham, North Carolina. Upon arrival, Durham police officers found Ramos had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine whether Ramos was shot at the location where he was found or if he was transported there after being shot elsew ...
