Ian Wells, a 15-year-old African American male from Durham, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 4, 2021. Ian was shot while at a gas station on Alston Avenue in Durham. After being shot, he managed to get back into his sister's minivan and attempted to drive away but was shot again, causing him to crash the vehicle near Angier and Alston Avenue.
