Christine Davis, a 46-year-old woman from Black Mountain, NC, was found dead on January 30, 2017. Her death was the result of a murder-suicide involving her domestic partner, Christopher Wilson, aged 44. The couple was discovered in their Cement Road home, each having died from a single gunshot wound. Davis suffered a gunshot wound to the head, while Wilson died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. A handgun was found on the floor under Wilson's hand.
