Dwight 'DJ' Dewayne Grayer, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot on January 4, 2015, while sitting in his burgundy Chevrolet Impala at a stoplight at the intersection of North Duke Street and Horton Road in Durham, North Carolina. A gray vehicle, believed to be a Hyundai Elantra, pulled up next to his car, and a passenger inside began firing shots into Grayer's vehicle.
