Just before late morning on June 29, 2025, Durham police were called to a home in the 600 block of Reservoir Street, where they found Jayquon Taborn, 20, a the hospital; Jayquon Taborn, 20, a Black male, was pronounced dead, while the teenager, and a 15-year-old girl suffering from gunshot wounds.
