On the night of December 17, 2024, 17-year-old Terrick Aaron Strudwick Jr. was fatally shot at the Cornwallis Road apartment complex in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 11 p.m., and upon arrival, police found Strudwick deceased at the scene.

In the days following the tragedy, Durham police arrested 16-year-old Corinthian Poole in connection with the shooting. Poole has been charged as an adult with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. The arrest has provided some ...
