On the night of April 7, 2025, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on North Poe Street in Lake Elsinore, California. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Marcus Bryant, a 37-year-old male resident of Hemet, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical aid from first responders, Bryant succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
