Rahzel Tyreek Jenkins, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 25, 2022, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the University Gardens Condominiums, located at 800 Pritchard Avenue Extension. Police were called to the scene around 11:35 p.m. and found Jenkins with gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to UNC Hospitals, Jenkins succumbed to his injuries.
